SAD NEWS for IC Australia and the tennis family

We have sad news about wonderful people who have been lost to the IC family.

Please note, none of these deaths have been due to Covid-19.

RIP Tim Cawthorn:

We are sorry to inform you that former Vice president and Honorary Life Member Tim Cawthorn passed away aged 87 on April 24. Tim was one of only 6 HLM's of the Club and also an Honorary Member of 11 other IC's. He spoke recently of having been on 26 IC trips overseas, played 3 Windmill Cups and 41 IC matches in total. Deepest condolences to his wife Bev, also a great supporter of the IC, and the rest of Tim's family.

RIP Wilma Rosewall:

Wilma Rosewall passed away peacefully on April 26th. Ken Rosewall, our former Vice President, legendary player and great friend to many of us, wanted the IC family to know about the loss of his lovely wife Wilma.

Wilma was a beautiful person, with time and a kind word and smile for all of us.

We will miss Wilma and keep her in our hearts. We reach out to Ken with love and thoughts.

RIP Andrea Mitchell:

Many in the tennis world were shocked to hear of Andrea's passing on April 3 aged 64. Andrea was an IC member and a significant contributor to tennis, including as the President of Tennis West and as a Tennis Australia Director. Our condolences to Andrea's family and friends.

RIP Julie Pascoe:

The IC tennis family were saddened by the passing on March 31st of Julie, wife of former IC Australia Committee member Wayne Pascoe. Julie was only 59 and a wonderful friend to many in the IC. Sympathy to Wayne and family.
